Even though hydrogen power has some benefits it also has several problems. The biggest problem is the safety of everyone around the exposed hydrogen. The Hindenburg is an example that displays the flammability of hydrogen and that its also explosive. Also the hydrogen bomb took many lives which shows that it can be extremely deadly. In addition to being dangerous it is hard to produce and transport.Car companies like Honda have made cars that they say are safe to drive by they are still very expensive and still highly flammable. The hydrogen in the car can not reach approximately 585ยบ Celsius or else it will explode and burn much faster than gasoline or oil. Also compared to gasoline, hydrogen is much harder to produce and contain. Also to replace the gas stations with hydrogen it would cost approximately 25 billions of dollars to put all over the U.S , because the hydrogen would need special stations to be sold to consumers. Even though Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the world its always attached to something else. The difficult part of using hydrogen is separating it from the other element. An example is H2O, in order to use the hydrogen you must remove the oxygen.
